Emergency Services

Nationally, the Emergency Services are moving through a modernisation agenda and this is reflected in the work that is currently taking place throughout the Police, Fire and Ambulance services.

The initiatives to improve service to citizens are driven by the setting of targets, which the emergency services, their board and authorities are under constant pressure to meet. It is accepted that in order to meet these targets, change is required to business processes, training, culture, support and personnel development, communication and changes to the management of information.
